• Utilization of a Safiery Scotty DC to DC converter to optimize battery charging from the vehicle's alternator.
• Deployment of a Victron Multiplus 2 5,000-watt hybrid inverter, enabling seamless integration with AC and DC sources, including the internal generator and grid power.
This innovative setup facilitates smooth operation of various appliances within the coffee van, such as coffee machines, fridges, and blenders, while significantly reducing noise pollution and environmental impact. Following subsequent trials with the existing configuration, it has been determined that doubling the battery capacity to 20 kWh would render the generator obsolete.
